I can't find any pictures from Saturdays Doo Dah. I thought one of the judges said "go home and vote for your second favorite costume" Well - - - - - - - -the link isn't activated. What gives?

I heard about the doo dah surf and thought I'd check it out. I saw so many funny costumes. I did not surf, but I had a really fun time watching everyone. The waves were pretty small. But still everyone was catching waves a hooting and having a good time. Next year I will have to join in on the fun. You guys put on a great show. Oh yeah the guy on the bagpipes was really good. He started the whole thing off. I've never seen anything like it.

Man, it's July already. I don't have a costume. Does anyone know if there's a costume shop in the LA/Torrance area? I know there are a lot during Halloweeen, but that's not for a while.

I was thinking about the silver surfer, but don't know how to pull that off. Maybe I can pull off Big Z from that movie Surf's Up. I got the gut for that guy. haha.
I went to doo dah last year. I didn't dress up, but I watched from the shore. Looked like alot of fun. The viking girl was the funnest. She pulled out her sword while riding. Classic. I will dress up this year.

I'm struggling on what to wear. A tuxedo would be too obvious. I'm thinking about a being a long lost superhero from the Superfriends. I think his name as Black Thunder. Who knows. Worse comes to worse I'll just wear a baseball cap and be Pathetic No Costume Man.

My costume is a secret! But I am a veteran DooDaher & would be happy to give anyone advice on what kinds of costumes work & what kinds don't. Plus, tips for surfing all dressed up!
